I picked up --- > THIS < --- yesterday Jim

I did call the guy on it the day it posted but decided against it. He seemed flexible on his price. It was a camp jeep and has been topless in the woods for the least 2 years. The biggest downside to it is its a 258, no hard top, and it has some rust.

I see why you'd be leary of it after sitting outside like that. The red CJ you bought is nice. Sounds like you got a great deal too.

A friend of mine in Kentucky is looking for a good CJ.
I know a lot is unknown on this Golden Eagle. What is a good price ? I am thinking $2,300.00 but would try for $2,000.00.

Makes me curious how the drive line functionality is...
