First off, a Wrangler and a CJ are the vehicles themselves.
Then each vehicle was available with various trim/interior packages that included Laredo, Renegade, Levis, Golden Eagle, Sahara, etc.
For instance, the differences between a CJ Laredo and Renegade were: The Renegade was the more basic interior package and the Larerdo came with a tach, a clock, leather wrapped streering wheel and dash grab bar, nicer seats, etc.
The original Golden Eagles came in certain paint colors (like the chocolate brown, dark green, white, etc) and had a rather large decal of a bird on the hood and the word "Golden Eagle" along the sides of the hood. The OEM wheels were golden color too. Newer Wrangler Golden Eagles have resurfaced and the colors are Black, white, Midnight Blue and green.
I'm not sure, but I think the Golden Eagle package just consisted of paint, decals and wheels. Not sure if anything on the interior or mechanics was special.
