Getting ready to swap out tranny w/turbo 400
:How do you tell what transfer case I am looking at?There are numbers and a date:2-23-79.Under the rear output it says18-19-44 S.Also a plate reading 309001-14 (first line) 5359121 (second line).I just discovered among the grease a diamond with what looks to be the word DANA in it.Is there any way to tell the spline count without opening it just yet?Does any one have advice on this and whos adapter to use?Oh its a 79 cj-7 304.Thanks Kdix.
