You mean like admitting he's not the buyer?

C'mon Jeff......give out his email so we can flood his inbox with hate mail and threats if he doesn't sign up and complete this build properly!

OK, OK already. I'll admit it, I'm am the new care taker of the Gaucho! You are an impatient bunch. I was hoping that I had the Jeep before saying anything here, but I guess not. I haven't even seen it in person yet. Like many of you, I have followed this build almost from when Jeff started, although I have never posted anything. I was actually planning a very similar build for a few years, and have collected many of the parts to do so, but never really got started because of time and my lack of fabrication skills. My plans were much more simple and basic, using an m416 military trailer for the bed. When I found this build, I thought what a great build to use as a guide. Little did I know that I would actually own it. I will try to keep you informed of the progress and perhaps ask for input. But I will say this, I don't work as fast and furious as Jeff. Heck, the best work is already done. So please be patient with me. I already have a few ideas, that I think will keep with the theme that has been the Gaucho. I'll let you know the first thing I'm going to do to it, and that is to get it here.

Sweet. A member for three and a half years and we finally got the first post out of him. Hopefully the first of many. Congratulations on your purchase.

This is great news! I was going to be really disappointed if the Gaucho disappeared from my Interwebs forever!

And the second thing you do will be mismatched full width axles, spring over on 12" lift springs, no hi-steer (complete with Z-link) and clearance the custom rear fenders for semi tires on 28" rims....right?

Congrats on the purchase, I'm envious to say the least!

The only problem with this theory would be the auctions could possibly never end.
