Build a pickup just like the Retro Wrangler, with a new fiberglass M-715 front clip

Yeppers, I saw the nuke a few weeks ago online and then JP mag had to go do a special on it...

I'd trade my Rubi in for that..as I really miss having a truck bed for hauling...

In my opinion, I think that would look a lot better with different front fenders like the Nukiser has. I dont think it looks right with the TJ fenders. Round fenders in the rear would look cool too.

The frame is a fully restored, lengthened and strengthened Scrambler frame (113.5" wheelbase now).

My ideas about a vehicle for my son have changed, so I'm no longer considering finishing the Gaucho.

I plan to list the Gaucho on eBay next week, I'll post the link to the auction here in case anyone's interested, or you can contact me via PM before I list it.

Wise choice. I dont think anyone should have a unique, one-of-a-kind vehicle like that as their very first. No matter how responsible he may be. Everyone always makes mistakes with their first vehicle.

I gotta say, I'm bummed that it won't be finished by you, Jeff. I kept holding onto hope that you'd get back to this once you were done with the Safari top, but I guess you lost interest.

I'm sure whoever buys it will do a great job finishing it, and hopefully they'll do a thread on it. And if it doesn't sell, maybe I'll be forced to finish it just to sell it.
