Man you make the windshield install look way too easy. That was a hateful, hateful job when I went through it.

I finished the bodywork on the tub today, which also included removing most of the original dried out and cracked seam sealer and replacing it with fresh sealer, both inside and out. At some point in its life, this tub was professionally undercoated, maybe that contributed to the minimal amount of rust it had, I don't know, but anyway I touched up the undercoat with rattle-can undercoat as well.

If all goes according to plan, tomorrow I'll shoot the tub with epoxy primer inside and out.

Just finished priming the tub with epoxy primer. Body work turned out pretty nice. In these views you can also see a few things I haven't shown before - the modification of the cowl area for the CJ defroster ducts (this is a YJ tub), and the hole in the back wall for the cab vent, to make it easier to close the doors when the windows are up. An S-10 pickup cab vent snaps in that hole.

I hope to have the tub back on the frame and have the cab fully assembled by Thursday morning. Have to let the epoxy harden overnight before handling, then have to wait for my two sons to get home from school tomorrow to help me lift it onto the frame.

The cab is all assembled and ready to be put on the frame. I put a complete CJ heater unit in this morning just to make sure everything fits properly in the converted YJ tub - no problem there. Cab goes back on the frame later this afternoon.

The boys and I got the Gaucho assembled this evening, that's Alex latching the hood. Unfortunately it was after dark (and raining), so we'll have to settle for these garage shots until the rain stops and it's light outside... it's finally all the same color

Beautiful work!! I really enjoyed watching this come together to this point....now only if I could see it be completed. I am really hoping whoever buys it carries on the build thread.
