What are the ohms for a gauge in a 1976 CJ5 with stock tank?

Is it the original gauge? The ohms should be 73 at empty, 10 ohms at full. My aftermarket gauge however, shows 81 ohms at empty, and 16 ohms at full. I had to bend the float wire on the sending unit to put the float at the bottom and get 81 ohms on a multimeter. I wasn't worried about where it was at when full. Never going to run out of gas with a full tank.
