Front grill & Radiator bushing

Why can I not find a replacement bushing for the radiator and grill? The bolt was completely rusted so my plan is to weld a new bolt into the housing. Im planning on a standard body mount kit (no lift) and it doesnt seem to come with it. Anyone know where one can be purchased. By the way I did a search with little to no results..

They do come with a body lift.

The nut is "captured" and I would not weld one to the cowl. The metal piece that captures the nut lets it move quite a bit to allow for alingment.

I'm also looking for the stock rubber mount.

Dealer only as far as I know.

Was able to purchase one through NAPA in 2008 using the OEM part numbers for about $21.00 complete with sleeves and rubber bushings.

I sure wish I had you NAPA store. Mine just says you cannot get that. Mine still cannot get the shift bushing. I used the old one.

I think next time I go there, as I know the guys at our NAPA store very well, I'll bring my invoices along for those parts and tell them to get me a half dozen of them and I will sell to Jeep forum members who need them. Pay what I payed, plus shipping. That's all I can offer I don't even know if they are available anymore either. but will find out next time I go there.

Sorry, my bad.

I didn't see that you were looking for stock height.

Just see if you can get the part number for it. Then all anyone has to do is order that number from their local Napa if it's still available.

I'd call the companies that make the kits and see if you can buy just that one. Daystar, Prothane, Energy Suspension, Etc.

I’m still looking for the front radiator support bushing.

I’ve been to NAPA several times and got a guy that did some looking. He was unable to cross to anything.

He tried using the part numbers from my assembly manual.

I went to the dealer and they looked it up on the computer and everything was discontinued. He then looked it up using my partys manual numbers and found the flat washers were avalible for $33.00 each.

I called the NAPA store with the new bushing numbers and they do not cross either.

I have picked up a replacement bolt for the one that is almost rusted in half.

I can clean up the old shims and metal sleve, but I would really like to replace the rubber.

Any help.

These are the numbers I have
Rubber spacer lower 545 9515 also 545 9186
Rubber spacer upper 545 9184 also 546 2446

Dealer number was J5462447 rubber spacer
Dealer number was J5462446 rubber spacer
Washer sleeve was J546734

I'm going to head over to our local NAPA store on Saturday where I got mine a couple of years ago and I'll have all my invoices in hand. I'll see what they can come up with and if available, I'll buy half dozen complete sets and resell at same cost to forum members who need them.
I hope they can still get them.

Thanks, if you cannot order them would you post the NAPA nymber?

You might want to take a count before ordering a half dozen, you do not want to get stuck with them unless you can return any not purchased.

I'm definitely in for a set if Keith scores them! If not, been eyeing various items at mcmaster.com to try to make a set. http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-vibration-control-washer-mounts/=g6fzq0
