Front differential cover replacement/Front Axle
Hello all...kinda new to fixing up Jeeps so bear with me. I have a 79 CJ7...to make a long story short I busted up the front differential cover (dana 44) ...not bad but it is leaking pretty good and needs to be replaced. Also damaged my axle where it attaches to the wheel....so now the front driver side wheel will not turn. On a scale of 1-10 how easy would these problems be to fix and anything I should be aware of before I start? Thanks for the help and bearing with a total newbie!

Unless someone transplanted a 44 in front you have a 30. Without knowing exactly what the damamge is, it will be hard to troubleshoot. Pictures are a big help here.

It is defintely a dana 44...I haven't cracked the cover open yet but I believe that is where the damage is
