They look like YJ bars.
I hope he doesn't do any serious wheeling, like heavy-duty rocks and stuff (and I very much doubt he does)....because he has no cage. And those chrome differential covers won't stand any rock rash, either.
Regardless, it is a VERY nice-looking Jeep.
People are funny....there seems to be this school of thought that says you can't have a really good-looking Jeep and still be a "real" wheeling vehicle.
Me, I never read any rules that said to be a "real wheeler" you had a have one that looks like a pile of crap.
Mine's going to look that good and after driving it around for awhile to get used to it and let it just 'look good' for awhile, it's going in the woods and trails. Just because I might not be willing to try and fit it between rocks that aren't big enough for a Liberty doesn't mean it's not getting "wheeled".

Are you certain it is the same jeep? The roll bar appears to be of a later model CJ.
Regardless, it is beautiful.

I was leaning back in my chair and kind of thought like Hoss.. "Hmmm, this is the nicest CJ?"..
Then I scrolled down and saw the transformation.. had to sit up and get closer to the screen to take it all in. Very nice work.
