I've seen that website before....i think its better to box the frame....did you see that??? that guy bolted the patch to the frame....not ever a good thing to do....box it with 3/16" steel.... much better way to go about anything that takes a load like a spring hanger.....just my thoughts....i wouldn't ever do anything like what that guy did
