ok, so is this a good idea? or just weld in new?

I've seen that website before....i think its better to box the frame....did you see that??? that guy bolted the patch to the frame....not ever a good thing to it with 3/16" steel.... much better way to go about anything that takes a load like a spring hanger.....just my thoughts....i wouldn't ever do anything like what that guy did
