Footman loops.

Any one know a good source for the "Footman loops". preferably one that doesn't cost $6 each. I want several to use as interior lashing points for flat straps. maybe a couple size options would be nice.

Thanks

We have a pretty good True Value store here, but they don't carry the footman loops, neither do any of the Lowels, Southerlands, or Homedepot.

You'd be surprised what the 'Mom and Pop' hardware stores carry.

Many times they have stuff you didn't even know existed.

I wanted a stainless footman loop for the center of my hood where the holes had already been drilled. So for me the size needed to be just right. I found Bosun Supply's web site and the dimensions were all shown. The price plus shipping may not fit your requirement but it's worth a look at their site.

I've seen them at boat shops, and in the marine section of the local hardware store.
