First Jeep project.
Ok... so I finally bought a Jeep.
It has 4 inches of suspension lift and 1.5 inches of body lift. the previous owner was going to make a rock crawler out of it. I know I need to get a new rear driveshaft (it vibrates) but what else do you suggest to make this thing ready for moderate trail riding? What is a good compromise tire for trails, some minor mud and highway driving too and from? Here are some pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks JC

Welp... found the front diff wasn't torqued correctly and the pinion flops around. Also the
CV driveshaft wasn't lubed and installed dry. It was stuck and took a sledge hammer to get it to slide or separate the slip joint. So... I found a wide track frame and axles and am in the process of swapping both axles out... We shall see.... |
