The Finished Product

After working on my 1981 CJ-7 for a year I have finally finished it. Here is a picture.

VERY nice jeep! Is the back seat a stock one? I really like the look of it.

Thanks guys!

The back seat is stock. It was originally blue and I painted it black. The front seats are new.

WOW that is all I can say. I want to sell my jeep and buy a cj and do what you did and your thread just made me want to do it sooner. I absolutely love your jeep! the interior is just _____ (that gap will be filled once they make a word that describes how much I like it!!!)

Beautiful work, but I have to ask... You seem to have lots of original stock equipment... when are you gonna ditch the Pontiac mats ::

I don't think I will ever be "done" with mine, there are always "projects", lol

Sit back and be proud for a while, you deserve it

Very nice job!

Did you paint it yourself?

I'm in the middle of painting mine woodland green. I spent much time contemplating on wether or not I should paint the steering column that was originally black like yours. I just painted it green and now looking at yours I wish I had kept it black. Oh well!

Yea, I need some floor mats. I took these out of the backseat of my 67 Firebird. The thing is, they fit really well in the Jeep. I did paint the Jeep myself. It was a first for me and it turned out pretty good. It has a really good shine, but has a little orange peel.
