I don't tighten my hardtop at the front to the metal windscreen frame. So long as it's bolted down to the tub it should be fine. It doesnt leak water either.
If you still want to you could run screws through the interior metal lip on the top and into the window frame.

I also have the same set up and didn't secure the front. Its been driven at highway speeds and around town all winter with no problems. Make sure its tight on the tub and it should be good to go.

My windshield frame isn't fiberglass, but these latches should work with a fiberglass frame too. You can find latches like this at the McMaster-Carr website.

I like the latches! Right now I have a footman loop on the hardtop that matches the one on the top of the frame so I just run a couple hose clamps between them or plastic zip ties. As others have noted, it doesn't leak.

Mine leaks air like a bastard and rattles like crazy over bumps, but probably due to the fiberglass tub not being identical to factory..oh well..
