fiberglass tub Question

I recently purchased and installed a hard top for my cj7. The guy that sold me the top had a set of hard doors for it as well but he said they wouldnt work due to my cj having a glass tub. Is this true? Can I forget about getting hard doors for my rig? I beleive the issue is the door catch assembly not being a direct fit. Lemme know if anybody else has had any success or failure.

I have 2 sets of hard doors for my 'glass tub. On has the old style of latch that just grabs the edge of the tub so I cut one of the chrome foot striker plates for the bottom of the door frame in half to protect the glass edge. This work well.

The other set has the 'belt remover' post style of latch for it. I have seen these mounted to the roll bar using a frame like a YJ tailgate stopper to hold the post. This way the latch holder it isn't bolted to the glass.
