Fiberglass body rocker protection

What have you guys been using for rocker protection for fiberglass bodies?? I contacted Schrockworks and they did not recommend their product for fiberglass. I'm assuming its the way that the rocker mounts directly to the body.
Any suggestions will be appreciated

nerf bars are you only choice for a fiberglass body.

My brother has steel rocker guards mounted to his fiberglass body. If you hit somethin really hard it might do some damage but they have worked pretty good for him so far. He made them himself though and i dont have any pictures

Frame tied rocker panels for glass tubs, smells like an opportunity for you Besrk. I'd buy a set.

Is that because steel will bend and fiberglass won't until it reaches a point were it will fold? I think a lot of people never realize how stong fiberglass realy is.

I really can't see why bolting on a steel rocker protector to steel or fiberglass will make much of a difference. I think both will benfit fron frame tie-ins.
