A few mods to the cj5....99% done
After restoring it in 2002, I did nothing except drive it as a daily driver till 2004. I moved to Atlanta and put it in storage until finally pulling it out in December.
Heres a list of what ive done in the past few months: stainless steel brake lines new pads, rotors, shoes, cylinders, master cylinder motor mounts and transmission mount clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing installed the heatercraft heater added ford tall shock towers up front moved the extended brake lines to the bottom of the frame for a few extra inches sanded primed and painted the frame and suspension. rear detroit locker front lockright new u joints all around cut front bumper down d rings front and rear (front tied into frame) front roll cage (not welded in yet) maglight mounted under dash. 2" wheel spacers replaced the windshield frame Thats about it for now. The Kentrol front cage has not been welded in yet.... I need to rebuild the drivers side brake caliper, bleed the brakes, bolt down the tuffy center console, fix the gremlins in the gas guage, pull the roll bar and repair the only d$%* rust on the whole jeep (the base of the rollbar) and then ill be done!
