exhaust manifold question

A buddy of mine has an issue with the vapor return line on his exhaust manifold and needs a 90 degree adapter. What is the best type of adapter to put into the exhaust manifold that will hold up to the heat? I was googleing earlier and saw where someone said that a brass fitting would work. Just wanted to check here and see what ya'lls input would be.

Bump for your post. I can't answer your question, but I'll be interested in the answer. I need all new fittings/tubes on my ex manifold.
