Engine Swap ?

Okay... saw this in Columbus http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f126/...rokee-1262234/

and wanted to see if this would work or not... currently have a CJ7 and was thinking instead of buying a Howell EFI kit this might be an alternative. That way I could try and sell the old engine and carb to save on cost as well.

What all would I be looking for on this if possible... I currently am running a 4.0 manual.

Here are a few thought, you may not get much for yours. The ad doesn't state the condition of the engine and for the most part people don't have dealers pull out good engine. I believe it will work but I am not sure. I do know that many times in a swap like that you end up finding other things when you plug and play like bad sensors and such. The ad also doesn't mention fuel pump, which is electric and would be required for the EFI engine. Add up everything you think you will need add $500 and double it and you probably wont be too far off when finished.
