Engine Date Help

I just bought a 304 that was sitting in a Jeep a guy bought. He had already sold the heads it has no flywheel but it came with rocker arms and bridges. It also had the fan, timing chain and cover, altenator, water pump, fuel pump, harmonic balancer, rods, crank, pistons, distributor, etc. Anyway I picked it up for $55 and it took 15 minutes to drive to where it was at. Do you know how to find out when it was manufactured without the valve covers? I found the number 3195527 which I determined meant it was a 304. I also found C3 on the back of the block where the flywheel would be. And K46 and 2 below where the intake would be. I am going to have it bored 30 over the crank turned 10/10 and have my heads worked. Any help would be appreciated.

1978 Jeep CJ-7 T-400 Q-Trac New 304 edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, comp cam, .060 over, dogleg heads and it DOES have some power.Forget swapping in a 350 chevy. Always AMC.

I did a search on Yahoo! for "Jeep engine 3195527" (without the "" marks, though) and I got 4 solid hits. Seems like the above code # is common on the 304. Check that out and hopefully you can do the same with the other code #'s. Good luck!
