Electric fan on 304 CJ7?

Does anybody run an electric fan on a CJ7 with the 304? I bought a used perma-cool 18 inch electric fan used from a guy. I will have to modify and fabricate the mounts but the fan will fit inside the stock shroud for better flow through the radiator. The fan is rated at 2500cfm. So I am hoping it will work, I am not sure how many cfm is required but I know that it is a pretty powerful fan. Anybody that thinks this will not cool effectively? Thanks for your input.

I have a 2500 cfm fan and it cools my 302 just fine. Even in the Southern California desert.

I'm running about the same thing on mine, works great, just a power hog!
Use a switch on the relay so you can shut it off in cool weather or when you are fording water...
Fans don't like to push water at all!
