door latch???

i broke the part that holds my door on the other day...i dont know exactly what this part is called but i have searched everywhere for a "door latch" with no luck does anyone know what the actual name is for this part or somewhere i can order one...



any help would be appreciated

Its called the Door Striker.

I just posted about this a couple days ago and found you can order the part directly from Bestop customer service. mine didnt break but was very worn and wasnt keeping the door shut. $15 all together with shipping and they were very helpful

Phase Two: Bedliner, Rollcage, Seats, BESRK Rear Bumper w/ tire swing, Soft Top, and a few other goodies - Mostly Complete
Phase Three: Waggy 44 front, Scout D44 Rear, 4.56's, ARB's (F/R) SOA with YJ Springs, 35x12.50x15 BFG MT - Not Even Close to beginning

Also a mostly rust-free 1970 Scout 800A That I'll get to start working on someday...

i have looked all over the place on the bestop website and cant find anything of that sort i searched for the door strikers and they look nothing like the one that is on mine now..

They arent on the website. You have to call customer service and tell them the type of doors/top you have and they will take your information and ship it to you. I had the same trouble on their website. I had the exact saem strikers and the 2 piece soft doors and they fixed me right up!

ok so i still am on the search for one of these dang things does anyone have a parts jeep they can rob one of these off for me and i will gladly pay i cant find anyone that carries the soft door striker only hard doors

did you call besttop? The strikers you showed in your picture are the exact ones I ordered and received in the mail a few days ago. are you sure you dont have two piece soft doors? Which door do you need? I've got the ones coming off my jeep sitting around but they are a bit warn out...you are welcome to them though
