Does anyone happen to have a spare one of these?

Anyone have one of these spare they would give/sell/trade?

I don't even need the whole thing, just one of the little chrome parts...

Yup, though I'd settle for the one I'm missing right now

The Limited is missing the little chrome part (actually chrome plated brass I believe) that screws into the passenger side, the Laredo is completely missing the whole assembly or I'd swipe one from it. The Laredo I can replace with something aftermarket or from a later model but I'd like to keep the Limited original.

I don't think it does, most of them seem to be more or less identical as far as I've noticed.

That's awesome, They should be the same. I know all '81 through '86 are the same and I think even before that back into the late '70s models as well.

Hey Dave,

You don't happen to have a set of D44 Jeep axles with 3:73 gears, do you?

Or, is that going a little beyond the "Jeepers helping Jeepers" thing.

Dave said in PM if these things were worth $1000 then I got a good Holiday Gift, I told him I don't think they'd be worth that much if the was solid gold but are a big help to me and wouldn't we all be getting richer instead of going broke restoring these things if the random old parts we keep laying around were solid gold

It's been a 2 year hunt for me. On the rare occasion that I've found a set, the owners truly thought they were made of gold.

I'm almost resigned to rebuilding my 20/30 axles.
