I answered two of them for you.....
You wont get a lot of responses on the DJ as the low numbers of them out there and fewer people wanting to forum chat about them are just not in your favor. I dont mind them being here as they are close enough to the CJ to be here IMO. Maybe there are DJ5 groups like there are for the AMC Eagle....dont know

Are your questions specific to the DJ? Maybe people see DJ and they just skip over the thread, if you could figure out how the problem could be approached from a CJ owner's point of view and title the thread that way, you might get more responses?

How many people actually have DJ specific experience? The answer to that question should give you some reasons why you don't get much response.

I thought a "DJ" was someone who plays music at a party.

Honestly, I had never heard of one until this thread.

I agree....

it is hard to get a reply to a dj question, but they share so much with the cj that most problems can be fixed using cj answers...

Aren't there any DJ forums? Have you looked for forums about Postal Jeeps?

There were lots of different DJ models. If you have one of the Postals, you may have better luck at a Postal forum. If you have one of the open body DJs, then the CJ forums (here and earlyCJ5) may be your best bet.

I know that one of the members on ECJ5 has a DJ-3A, and discussion about that Jeep are fairly active. Discussions about the Postals are usually about what parts can they provide for CJs.

I've never come across a DJ forum. This is about as good as it gets from what I can tell...

There's this -

http://autos.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/PostalJeeps/

Not a lot of activity lately, but the old posts may be helpful. Try posting there and see if anybody is listening.

I've found that these yahoo groups often go to an actual 'forum' format eventually ... some of the old posts might point you there.

There aren't too many of us DJers around, but there are a few. I usually only get on the forum only if I'm seeking a specific answer (as I suspect most do), so it's hit and miss for me. I always use the search function on the CJ forum ("DJ5") when I do though. There's quite a bit going back a few years on here. As for other DJ5 specific sites, I've not had much luck. I do best with the AMC guys for drive train (though that won't help you with the PG trans and 4cyl GM motor). For that you might want to look at a Nova forum maybe? For suspension, wiring, fuel, exhaust, etc., this is as good a group as there is. Early-CJ is another good one. Let me know if the Yahoo group sends you anywhere good. Also, there is a guy named John who runs a DJ parts store on Ebay. If you need a specific part or need to know what you've got, he might be helpful. He's an old PO mechanic, so he knows his stuff. http://stores.ebay.com/POSTAL-JEEP-P...p2047675.l2563.
