DJ/CJ fenders

the local junkyard has a boat-load of the old postal jeeps, DJ's i think. my question is: are the front fenders the same as a CJ's front fenders? i'd love to snag a set for my project cj7

Well, maybe, if your CJ is pre 1972. The DJ's used the short nose style while CJ's after 71 went to the long nose. At quick glace, you can tell by looking at the bottom of the fender where it meets the tub.....is there a 3 to 4 inch flat span or does the arch end right at the seem? Also check the inner fender for any sheet metal differences.
