Post Divorce mounted dana 300

Anyone ever heard of a way to divorce mount a dana 300? Thinking about putting one in my xj and have a 2wd sm465 that I want to put in along with it and thought it might be cheaper and easier to divorce mount the transfer case.

1985 XJ 2.8 V6 5sp.
3" lift
no sway bars
long travel shocks

If your 465 has a 10 spline output shaft, there are adapters available to bolt it to the 300 using a spud shaft. Check out the advance adapters site.
