Diff case question

I want to replace the 2:73 gears in my cj with 4:10's that I took from another Jeep. I also want to replace the trac-lok carrier that came with the 4:10's with an open case (currently holding 3:54's)
to allow for the installation of a Lock Rite. Do I need to change anything else when I change to the open carrier?

Thanks -

- Jeff

I'm assuming you have an AMC 20 axle. If this is true, then the 3.54 open case is correct for the 4.10 gears and nothing else needs to be changed. You will have to get a high numerical ratio case for your D30 front end too.
