I was summerizing my jeep this afternoon (pushing in all the heater controls) and found that my bottom pull had broken off at the box. A quick google search came up with a Rugged Ridge replacement set; are these as good as factory. I really only want to replace the defroster pull if anyone has a spare lying around I'm willing to pay for it?

Short answer: maybe. If you look at them, they have all the same markings as the originals, right down to a part number stamped on the housings. Only difference is originals had red ends and the aftermarkets have white.

I replaced mine a few years ago; 2 out of 3 were fine, the other had the knob pull off on me. So I guess it depends which one falls off for you I'd replace the whole set if you go that route, just to keep them all looking the same. And they've held up well for me over the past 3 years once I had the knob problem fixed.
