Dana 300 speedometer gears

I recently changed gear ratios on my 80 CJ-5. I want to correct the speedometer so I got a drive gear from the local Chrysler dealer and come to find out, the gear that I got is far too large in diameter to fit my transfer case. I had a a chance to look at different Dana 300 cases and mine is the earlier one with the speedo cable going into a large hex head plug. The gear that the dealer got me fits the later Dana 300 with the eccentric cover bushing. So where do I get speedo gears for my early 300 case? I went from 3.54 gears to 4.10's with 31 inch tires.
