I've seen 2 different Dana 300 T-cases. One of them has a long cone and the other a little bit shorter. Does anyone know how to tell the differance??? Like measurements or anything like that. Thanks for your help.

Only Dana300's from 1980 had the shorter tailhousing and that was to allow a longer driveshaft.
J/K, I couldn't pass this up....
I used to own two CJ's...Perhaps a 3rd is in the future?
