dana 30 inner axle shaft seal replacement?

i ordered the inner axle shaft seal to replace while i am replaceing all the bearings on the hub and spindle. What i didnt realize was that these were located inside the tubes all the way down near the pinion. how much trouble are these to replace. I wasnt looking to replace anything in the pumpkin.

Getting the seals out is a little bit of a PIA as the out board side of the seals are rounded over, you'll see what I mean when you get the new seals. This makes getting a seal puller behind them more difficult. I had to carefully bend up the inside lip of the seal to free them up enough to pull out. Not being able to get a good angle didn't make it any easier. I don't see much problem installing them though.

I have a set of these in the garage. I dont even have a dana 30 anymore. I bought them when rebuilding my old 30. After seeing what a pita they would be to replace I left the old ones in. They never failed on me. Unless they are bad I would not bother changing them out.
