dana 27

is the cover for a dana 27 and a dana 30 the same size,. im not so much interested in putting a new cover on it as i am with getting a fitted gasket. im sick of cork gaskets splitting in a week. and leaking. if not any one know where i can find a good dana 27 gasket. i really like the lube locker gaskets even though they run a little high.

Dana 25, 27, and 30 use the same gaskets. The 25 has the vent in the cover and most 27's and 30's have the vent in the housing. Other than that they interchange.

Because some early YJ's were a high pinion differential so the fill plug had to be higher to raise the oil level for proper lubrication. The others are low pinion so the fill plug is lower. Shape and gasket are the same.
