custom grill. anyone make one?

i was thinking about cutting out the bars and putting in black wire mesh thing in there and putting a P.O.W. symble in the middle. im doing a custom military look and thought that crazy idea up but i was wondering if anyone else has done anything like this. if so can you post pics

could just paint the mesh and use it as an overlay, these are pretty nice, my buddy's got one

Honestly, the grill is one of the parts on a cj -or any jeep that is iconic. West coast customs did a zippo jk with a custom grill. It looked awful.
If you could keep the grill, and put a thin over or underlay on it, I think that would be cool. Some crafty air brush work could also be an option.

if it doesnt turn out good ill still have a stock grill to put in. and i dont like the bug shields. but maybe i can make something like that to put over the grill
