To answer the title's question for future readers, CJ's come with crossover steering from the factory.

So tie-rod flip would be the correct terminology?

No idea. You deleted the original post.


However, if you were looking for a reamer then OTK steering sounds like what it was about since you would need to change the taper direction. No, CJ's did not come with Over The Knuckle steering. It can be an "upgrade" if you use heavier-duty rods. Otherwise, it is simply repositioning for better clearance and to improve your drag link geometry.
