Cracked Engine Block
85' CJ7 Laredo I6
I have a small crack in my engine block between the back 2 large freeze plugs, right below the exaust manifold. It leaks a small amount of coolant (no oil). Will Kant Leak, or another radiator sealant fix this problem?

It might or might not. Bar's Leak's pellets are the only thing I would add to a radiator to stop a leak. Not the pellets in oil they sell, just the plain pellets they sell, like 6 in a blister pack.
GM used that stuff from the factory to seal poor aluminum castings in Caddy's and such. I have about a 12" water jacket crack in my 2.5L from front to rear plug. I soldered it up and although it weeps a bit every now and then, it basically doesn't leak nearly enough to even leave little puddles or anything. I'm probably gonna go back over that with some JB weld before wheeling season and that should stop it for good. They say you should drill both ends of a crack with a 1/16"-1/8" bit to make sure it doesn't crack further, too, but thats going to cause the situation to get worse before it gets better if your leak is minor.

Same crack
I have the same crack in my block between the freeze plugs??? This motor was just rebuilt from L.A. Engine rebuilders and they just closed there doors so I am very interested in what you end up doing and if it works for you. NAPA likes a new product from K&W called "nanotechnology" ???
