A couple of stock CJ wiring questions

I am trying to chase down a couple of wiring issues I have been having. Lately my blinkers dont work when my HID's are on.

Doubt this has anything to do with it. 1st, I have a black wire coming in a wiring harness near the starter solenoid that is not connected.

The second one is I have two wires coming out of the wiring harness near the distributor. One wire is black and the other is yellow with a black string.

As far as I know it is a pretty stock '82 CJ7 except the HID's which I did along time ago.

It's a ground problem. Always. Check ground at:

Each taillight
Battery to frame
Battery to engine
Battery to front grille ****
Each headlight ground
Dimmer switch connections

I hope this helps.
