Could the steering linkage of a 30D be used on a 27D?

I hope i posted this in the right section. Could the steering linkage of a Dana 30 be used on a Dana 27? I have a Dana 30 laying around and would like to put the steering link system that it has on my Dana 27 if its possible. The Dana 30 is a narrow base dana30.

D30 is longer than D27, so no, not without modification.
