My buddy has an 87 Wrangler with this kit. Here's a few things I've noticed:

Pros:
-adjustable height
-very smooth ride
-major articulation
-cools looks
-jeep goes everywhere

Cons:
-price! i think the kit cost him $4k with install around $2k
-access to clutch/tranny/etc...access to the underbelly requires removing several parts (very time-consuming)
-price!

If you have the money, go for it. The kit does require installation by an authorized installer. I know one in CA if you are serious.
