Considering selling 1986 CJ7

Have a 1986 CJ7 Renegade with about 21,000 miles on it... brown with yellow/orange decals... still shines up like new. All original except added a lock box, new mirrors, and sound system (have original radio if someone would want it.) Interior, seats, etc. all in EXCELLENT condition... runs perfectly, garage kept, no rust, never driven in snow. Really just a summer toy. Curious what vehicle might be worth. I would appreciate your input... thanks!

Some pictures would really help.

Even though it only has 21,000 miles its still is a 25 year old vehicle with 25 year old seals, bushings, and gaskets.

Local prices are something to check as well. What may sell in California for $8000 can sell here in Louisiana for $4000.

If it is all still stock and in the shape you describe you should get a good price on it, but again really need some pictures to even take a swing.

Welcome to the forums!

Are you saying it has 21,000 original miles on it????

If the miles are original and the condition is as you describe I'd say it's worth $10k + especially where you live in the rust belt.

We are gonna need pics though. You can set up a free account at photobucket.com and paste the img tags into your posts.

Yeah, down here in Michigan a Jeep with no rust seams as it's priceless.

Sucks gas and hauls -, well it just sucks gas.
