Connecting Charcoal Canister To Carter BBD

Need information on how the vacuum lines of the Carter BBD carb connect to the charcoal canister. I have located a bracket and canister from a 95 GM pickup that should work on my 83 CJ5. Thank in advance for your knowledge and assistance.

Pictured is a canister from 1984 that is the same for 1983 model year. The hose labeled "C" will go to a ported vacuum source on the Carter carb, Weber carb is the same.
