Great Job!

How on earth were you able to calmly walk around with the camera and keep it rolling while you set the time?

When I first started mine I was a nervous wreck! I was running all over looking for leaks and watching gauges.

I know you are very proud of it as you should be.
Again, that thing is AWESOME!!!

I'm glad all of you like the video so much. I've already got most of the wiring in the engine compartment covered with the convoluted tubing. The dash was dropped back down and the volt gauge removed, I'll probably fix that tonight during MNF. I've got the cooling fan switch wired and a bunch of stereo stuff on order. In fact, I've got all kinds of things Brown Santa should be bringing me this week. Even though the engine is running there are still a lot of things to do.

Amazing project, absolutely astounding. I stopped playing the new Fallout just for this thread. Also your beer looks incredible and thumbs up on that Sam Adams box, me and Sam have an intimate relationship as well.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback and comments I've just been pretty busy lately with work. I haven't done much to the Jeep this week. I can't get the volt meter to read correctly so it looks like I might have to order another one. I can't send this one back for a replacement since I modified it so it looks like another $25 down the drain. I really want to have the dash completely assembled before I install it. I'm thinking I also want to get the windshield frame installed before the dash to give me more direct access to the lower hinge nuts on the inside of the cab. Those are pretty hard to get to with the dash installed.

I did clean up my windshield and although there are no cracks it does have twenty years worth of use and pitting on the outside glass, remember it was parked for ten years of it's life. Part of me says if it's not broke don't fix it and maybe hit it with the 3M Ultra-fine polish but the other part of me wants to have a new windshield to go with the "new" Jeep. All the local places want $200 tinted or non-tinted but you can get them shipped from all the 4x4 places for just over $100, no option for tinted or not. I'm leaning toward keeping the one I have since the windshield can pretty much be replaced at any time.

That's kind of funny you added that pin striping. Here is what I came up with shortly after you suggested that the first time. I had always planned the stripes along the bottom and want to wait until it's finished with those and the fender flares before I decide if it needs a little more black to break up all the white. I was thinking a 1/4" stripe then an 1/8" one below it. We'll see what happens over the next couple of months.
