Clutch disc thickness

I had to pull the engine on my CJ to replace the bell housing and other parts. I had hoped to put a new clutch disc, pressure plate and T/O bearing in while the engine is out, but I've spent my budget to replace the parts I needed and everything else that i've found wrong.

Having said all that, does anyone know what the minimum thickness for a CJ clutch disc is? Mine only has about 20K-25K miles on it, and looks pretty good. I just want to completely check it out before I put it back in.

Thanks,

Warren

You should be OK, I get 60 to 80 K out of a disk so unless your just riding the hell out of it, just inspect it for broken/loose springs or cracks and clean it real good. If the clutch worked smooth before, you should be OK on the flywheel as well. Inspect it for hot spots, grooves, etc and resurface if needed. Some do it each time, but I only do it when needed and it has worked for me....
