Scott,

Do ever wish you would have bought your boys a reliable Suburu, or Honda, instead of a CJ?

Nice progress on the swap.

Matt

Truth! I found a spot right at the front door of WalMart. Parked, went in, and was accosted... yes, accosted, by an attractive woman and her very cute daughter as they were walking out! Yep. True story. And I had my cute son with me! More truth than fiction in that theory, Baby!

Thanks, Matt. Means a lot coming from you. And Subarus are for bunny-hugging women who don't know they are supposed to be in the kitchen!

Went to NAPA, for the second time today, and bought the freeze plug I needed... so that is now done. New freeze plugs in the back of the block. They were about a buck a piece at NAPA, where Auto Zone wanted $8.99 for a pack of 10, and I had to prepay so they could order them! Why do I work part time for them? Because I get 20% off, that's why! But I didn't need 10, and I couldn't wait til Monday.

Found out WM doesn't stock the engine paint anymore, so I had to buy that at NAPA too, at $7 a can! Only to "learn" we ain't painting this engine! But now I gots der paint.

I have been enjoying my day off. Forecast, starting tomorrow, is rain for the next 8 days. Eight days!? C'mon... it doesn't rain for 8 days. But, Hey, it's Florida... it MIGHT! So prepping for a hoedown.

And I am including a couple pics of my dorky son (Clayton, hehehe). He just arrived home from work.

Wow, I bet you're a hit with the young ladies.

The Warden would drop me like a bad transmission, if I ever told her she "belonged in the kitchen".

Male chauvinism is a lost art....

Watch out guys, I've talked to Scott after he's had a couple (he said 2) beers, he gets a little goofy.

Good progress Scotty.

Matt, when Scotts warden says JUMP, he says how high on the way up!

Yeah, I kinda figured Sooter talks a better game than he plays.

I wonder if Scott has ever bleached his hair after a few too many?

Never bleached my hair after a few too many, but I have surely shaved off a few eyebrows on someone ELSE who has had a few too many!

Good deal on the broken bolt. Sometimes things go easy.

I tried to talk my buddy Scott into telling a co-worker something, another woman, but he aint got the guts to do it. So you think the CJ is enough to cause women to flock after you? Hmmm, Scott are you off your medication or something

Chicks dig CJs, there's no doubt about it.

But, Scott's got a couple of young strapping sons that hang with him, so his perception is skewed.

Dude, my cousin-out-law had a WRX and I rode with him from my Mom's place over the causeway to Galveston to pick up some odds and ends, I have to say that son-of-a-bisquit was blindingly fast; in fact, I think that flat-four WRX pulled harder than any street car I have been in in my life.

An extreme version...
