OBDII to OBDI,
This wiring stuff ain't really much fun.
Scratching my head with greasy-tipped fingers,
My cheek showing evidence that madness still lingers.
The engine still beckons strapped down and secure.
Tomorrow I'll start it of that I am sure.
But tomorrow brings conflict, and the engine she waits.
The 'ol whore sits grinning as if knowing her fate.
Grabbing two dollar parts from a boneyard of cars
I'll make this witch purr or head to the bar.
TOMORROW, you'll see, that is the day.
Tomorrow, I told you. Tomorrow you'll see.
Tomorrow.
There's always tomorrow...

No mention of a hammer, you didn't even stammer.

Give wiring a big whack, take a load off your back.

If tires were wires, you'd be set to retire.

You at a bar, hardy har har.

The moral of the story, is you need a bigger hammer!

And lay off the Mikes Hard Lemonade.

I've been reading your build thread for days now (or is it weeks?). I'm on PG 65 now. Good stuff Scott!

I've got a 4.0HO engine in a 92 Cherokee that I'm getting ready to pull for my CJ. So, I've been reading up on it. Cevans87 has written a lot about the 4.0 going in to a CJ, both doing a head swap or the whole motor. His thread gets in to the gritty details really well and he is great to talk with, very helpful.

OBD I is better, but OBD II will work too.

I don't know if I can post a link to his thread with my tablet, but here is the address: http://WWW.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/4...build-1114875/

Even though he is talking about putting the 4.0L mpfi head on a 258, there is a lot of really good info in it.

I will catch up to the end of your (Clay's) build thread eventually, right now it's time to work on mine

Hey...Edgar Allen Kerr...that's pretty good!

With the ongoing adventures that take place in your life,I think we should get a hold of Mark Burnett, and get the Kerr family their own reality TV show! The Osbournes have nothing on you guys!

Would you believe me if I told you that we don't have TV in our house? Believe it. We own one, but we don't subscribe to any service, cable or local network. I have never seen any of those reality shows. And I have never been so busy as I am now!

Clay pulled some OBDI sensors from the donor '92 XJ Sport this morning. I hate it as the JY that I have been deaing with for the last 10 years appears to be closing his doors. Most of his Jeeps are gone, gone. Then Clay had a bush-hogging job to finish. I had to move my oldest to Savannah for a 3 mos internship (Arizona Chemical). We started the trip yesterday, but blew a tire on the trailer. My youngest thought it was quite an adventure. Finished it up today, $250 poorer in tires, spent 12 hours in the truck total, babying my 205,000 mile 5.4, pulling a Wells Cargo trailer, rain squalls all around, Yankee drivers who don't have a clue how to drive in the rain (converse for Rebs in the snow ), but we did discover Fat Jack's in Maclenny, a robust BBQ joint, good family atmosphere, extremely good BBQ, with very healthy portions. The Kerrs did NOT finish the Feast for 4... and there was 6 of us! Had some more for supper this evening.

Tired tonite. Going to bed. And I learned that I am a fool! So I'm pouting...
