Nope- completely forgot about that. I will do it (if you remind me!), but it will have to wait a couple of weeks. Mix screws are out 3 turns each.

You should have told Clay that power steering is for little girls and deal with manual. See, problem solved with tough love.

Feeling pretty BIG today, and I had to post this up.

Just for kicks and giggles, I fabbed up a bracket for the throttle cable. Now we're running off the gas pedal, which makes it MORE like a Jeep! I putzed around in 1st and 2nd gear in the yard. I proved to myself that a T18 does NOT have a synchroed 1st gear! I had no troubles starting in 2nd gear with 3.54 and 33" tires. I wanted to go fast! But I don't have everything "tight" yet. It was killer.

Heading out to start on windshield install.

You got them seats installed yet? Gas pedal is fixed and no seats makes for a bad ride. Seat belt too. Hurry up and leave that neighbor alone. I saw where he posted somewhere that he could whip you any day of the week with both hands tied behind his back. You better get to Montana before he starts.

That's an azz-whipping I would just have to take!!

Started on final windshield install, and I discovered I gots issues! This is going to be significantly difficult as it is warped beyond any time dimension Rod Serling ever imagined! I might have to drive it fast under a low-hanging limb. Should clear it right up.

So I started working on bleeding the brakes. Got the two "little-bits" out there to help me. One adding brake fluid, one pumping brakes, me under the rig. With brake fluid dripping on my forehead! Got a bad connection with new lines! Had it apart a couple times to "check it out", but no go. This is the rubber line that screws to the rear axle. It divides to both sides. It is leaking where it attaches to the hard line up under the gas tank. No joy in Mudville!

Wish I had a couple of Shiners.

So I loaded up the two squirts and hauled their little butts around the yard. Got it up to third gear! YEE-HAW!! RODEO, BABY!!!!!!!!

Seats is last Jimbo. Don't wanna half to crawl over them to finish stuff up. And by the way we have scratched this thing up, we would probably make them dirty as a peanut harvester!

Think I'll go wander aimlessly around the yard for awhile...

I went back and looked at the picture of Clay driving the Jeep. It looks like the windshield is to low on the drivers side. Is there any adjustment on the body portion where you can move it up?

Take a straight edge and lay it across the glass, top corner to bottom corner. see if its flat. CJ frames are flimsy, it shouldn't be difficult to tweak it a bit. I wouldn't do with the glass in.

Pictures? brake line also.

Probably because of all the NOOBIE welding we had to do on it! We didn't no nuthin when we started this project. AJ straightened it as well as he could! I will mount the soft top and figure where the WS is supposed to be. SOMEHOW, we'll attach the top of it to the A pillar. That will pull it in. But it likely won't be easy to fold down, if he ever wants to...

I ain't in a bad mood, just apathetic!!

AJ taking most of the warp out of it.
