Thanks, Kyle. Being a first-timer I have asked a lot of trivial questions, and I have posted a lot of useless junk too, but I'm having a good time. Thanks for your comments! I hope to be worthy!

Hey Scott here's your chance at making some money. Rent AJ to other Jeep owners.

Yeah, he's pretty amazing with all the stuff he knows. Definitely would be in a different dimension if I didn't have his help.

Ditto for Houston. You should have red and black 10 gauge for the 120v hot lines, 10 gauge white for neutral, and a 4th bare copper for ground. I'm sure RJ's buddy can make a call on it

BIG plans today!

First, I am fixing breakfast for the Old Lady! Slab bacon, cheese eggs, hash browns, grits, and pancakes. This is in prelude to tomorrow. Then we're picking green beans and digging more potatoes.

THEN, we will finish the fitting of the hood and fenders. I have to wallow out some of the holes to give the fenders the ability to move sideways... so they are flush with the tub. I am going to try and raise them a little so the gap between the hood and fender top is not so wide.

I can't remember what AJ called it (air file?? rasp?), a small, corrugated metal tool tip that goes in your die grinder for cleaning up holes... anyway, I gotta get one.

Then we will be cutting out some of the tub floor, placing stringers and reinforcing the areas where the body bushings will be making contact.

I test fitted the seat sliders/bases out of my 7 in Clay's 5. THEY DON'T FIT??? What's up with that? Is it because it is an aftermarket glass tub? Or did they never fit?? I can't use them at all so we'll have to fab up seat brackets, which Clay really won't mind doing.

Then Clay is going to fab up a base for my rear fold-and-tumble seat, which I will use as a seat for the porch of my shop. It will be on casters. Should be quite the redneck touch. Maybe I'll send it to MoC....................................NOT!

Man, it's a BEAUTIFUL day this morning. And my coffee is outstanding!

JEEP.............................................. .........wife!

JEEP.............................................. .........wife!

JEEP.............................................. .........wife!

Hmmm-mmmmmmmmmm.............................

uh... WIFE!

Yes Ma'am!! I'm comin.....

There's no way we'll get ALL that done today. The real goal is to final fit the fenders/hood/tub, mark/drill holes, and start removing the glass floor (double-walled) so I can see what the glass looks like inside/between. It is "spongy" on the exterior floorboard.
