Black light and Florescence numbing fluid. The last time I had a chunk of steel in my eye, they numbed it, and I watched the 18G needle come right at my eyeball, didnt feel a thing, I was like holy crap.
If its not imbedded a magnet can be used .

I think they stuck the fluorescence numbing fluid in your ear Dr. Bill. The needle was only a diversion. That's why you didn't feel anything in your eye. You should tell us where they really stuck it!

New water pump this evening. Novak's bushing arrived today. So water pump, pilot bushing, torque clutch set, mount CPS, bolt on motor mounts, tomorrow. After I wake up. MUCH later after I wake up. After coffee. Maybe TWO cups of coffee.

I received my pilot bushing from Novak yesterday, and Clay soaked it in some 15/40 overnight, per E.J.'s advice. EJ is the Tech(?), Owner(?)... don't know... at Novak's, but I can tell you he is patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. Since I hadn't ever installed a pilot bushing I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would snugly push into the crank bore with my fingers, but that wasn't the case. So I called Novak and left a V-mail. EJ called me back and walked me through it. SUCCESS! It is a press fit. Bammed it in with a wooden dowel rod, as EJ explained. Fits tight. Perfect. GREAT product! A sexy piece of bronze! Thanks, Novak.

Shoot!!! We can stick this sucker into the Jeep!!!!!!

And Bill said:
Ok I'll be honest, the nurse looked like Sandra Bernhard.

image-3009009266.jpg

I asked her to wear a surgical mask but she refused. I then asked for a cuter nurse, and in walked that guy Jim likes to post. You know the half naked one.

At this point I ran from the ER as fast as my little legs would carry me. Problem was I had flip flops on , yep, ran out of both of them. But that's not the worst of it. Since I work in the hood I was wearing my dockers low on my hips. Yep, right after I lost the flip flops my Dockers slipped down to my ankles. But that was alright cause I was wearing a pair of Vicki's granny panties, so I had full coverage from my knees to my nipples. Did I mention it was In the winter? Yea, if I'd had a phone I could have dialed it hands free.

Guess what, my car keys were in the Dockers, no way was I going back for them. Lucky for me the Jeep key cylinder is wore pretty bad so a key isn't needed. I made it home a hour later, I bit the bullet and dug the steel out of my eye with this.

Good thing I'm a tough old Bastage.

So the moral of the story is
1.) keep your pants up and don't be a wanna be.
2.) always wear clean underwear ( your own)
3.) don't wear flip flops in the winter!
4.) do the blazer heater motor upgrade in your Jeep.
5.) if you go to the ER, go on 2nd shift. ( I found out that's when all the young cute girls work)
6.) last but not least, WEAR SAFETY GLASSES.

Sorry about the long post, but you did ask!

Enjoy your grits and coffee.

Bill

On edit, this is wear I wanted the shot, ready for it? Ok, close 1 eye, and squint with the other.
EDIT BELOW.
"Picture deleted, on edit. Some may have found it Offensive, I wasn't sure. Scott saw it, so that's the important part. Actually I had to cut and paste the entire post, delete and repost to get rid of the pictures.
In case you really want to know what the picture was , pull your shirt sleeve up, and take a close picture with your arm bent at the elbow. It looks just like a butt. "

Hahahaha, ROFL!

Relax, it's just my arm. heres a close up so you can see the exact spot.
Enjoy your breakfast.

You crack me up!

Thermostat done. Water pump done (had to gently grind down the vanes for clearance). Motor mounts done (odd bolt is 12mm X 1.50, drilled out motor mount bolt hole). Clutch set done. Pilot bushing done. Bellhousing installed. CPS bracket in paint.

Gotta do fuel lines, external fuel pump and filter. Run power.

Working 8:30 til 3:30 at AZ tomorrow...

I just edited my previous post to add the pictures.

And explained why I deleted 2 of them. Although I don't think they were any worse than the guy dancing . I don't want to offend anyone.
