Clarification on 4" lift from 2.5" lift then driveshafts lengthened?

I currently run a 2.5" Rancho lift.

Looking at trading parts and picking up some 4" lift springs. My driveshafts are already made longer.

Will I need to have them done again for a 4" set of springs?

I seem to be getting various answers from folks in our club.

Also, I have a drop pitman for a 4" lift, but will I need shims or anything in the front for castor?

Thanks
