I'm sorry Blake but all CJs had optional heaters, including my 49 CJ3A.

Ford never had a prototype Jeep, their prototype was a Pygmy and it was after the contract was awarded to Bantam for the Jeep. Only Bantam and Willy-Overland produced prototypes for the Army's solicitation. Bantam won but was relagated to producing trailers because they couldn't satisfy the Army's demand. Ford produced Bantam's design on their manufacturing line.

So Blake, we'll call your Wangler a Pygmy instead of a Jeep.

Today's Chrysler product has more in common with a Hummer then it does with an actual Jeep.
Now I'm not trying to take away from these Chrysler Wrangler fans, I'm just being honest and stating reality. All the reasons we Love Jeeps, and the features that gave them iconic status in history, are gone.

JEEP, something Chrysler never understood!
Pointless question! Renegade82 got it right Jeeps where produced between 1941 and 1986 anything after than is Chrysler produced. Also not trying to take away anything from the Chrysler Wrangler YJ fans. I have wheeled with some awesome CJ and YJ' s during my wheeling days. Ultimately it comes down to which you prefer. The classic CJ or the slightly more modern YJ. I am old school and prefer the CJ but some may not and that is ok. To each his own. And as far as which is male or female does it matter? Again I have wheeled all over the the southwest for a lot of years and seen some pretty incredible wheeling done by female CJ and YJ owners. Pointless question........

This whole thread has been pointless. VEX is a 1983 CJ-7. That this is the pinnacle of manliness is obvious to anyone who frequents these forums.

The vehicle actually used in Tomb Raider (now on display at the Motor Heritage Centre, Gaydon UK) was actually a highly modified Land Rover 110 High Capacity Pick Up with a specially fitted and tuned V8 petrol engine and a non-standard interior.

Needless to say Lady Lara Croft is English and hot.

Contrast this with Dirk Pitt in Sahara, a very American chap. The Jeeps used include a Grand Cherokee, a 70s Cherokee, a Comanche pickup, a then brand new Wrangler Unlimited, a 3B and an MB as well. Also I think Penelope Cruz was in there somewhere.

Daisy Duke though is still queen of the action jeeps.
